In total, McDuff is suspected of 14 murders and has the distinction of being the only person in United States history to be sentenced to death for murder, paroled, and then sentenced to death for two additional murders committed after he was released. Broomstick murders On August 6, 1966, McDuff and Green, whom he had met around a month earlier through a mutual acquaintance, spent the day pouring concrete for McDuff's father.
